christmas eve with tampons

i gave my niece, caitlyn, a gift card in a box and i used o.b. tampons as ‘packing peanuts’. i’d also made her an angel ornament out of a tampon, complete with a little red spot inside her skirt [zakk's idea, actually. after showing it to him, he turned it over and said "you REALLY need to put a red spot in there" and, of course, i did]. it was a fun-filled, tampon-pelting evening.

i just wish i had gotten a picture of my brother, with a tampon stuck in one of his nostrils, saying “i’m having one of my heavy days…”
