mini padding, mini week

so. i was at work today, out in the field with my male co-workers, and i reached up to scratch an itchy under the sleeve of my t-shirt. the sleeve itself felt kind of funny so i stuck my hand inside it to feel around. i felt something familiar, but wrong. i reached into my sleeve again and finally realized that there was a pantyliner stuck to the inside of it. geez. i guess i should’ve gone looking for it when i found it’s little pink wrapper in the dryer the other day. and i think i’m lucky that it was on the inside of my sleeve and not the outside of my back!

later today, my boss called me [about 3 mins before i was leaving for home] and said that i could take my last 3 vacation days on wednesday, thursday and friday! of THIS week! woohoo! it’s a good thing, too… i need to buy a new car, my washing machine has to be tricked into working, my cat has a gooky eye, the truck needs oil and tire rotating and, as usual, we’ve run out of FOOD [i.e. the dreaded grocery store run]. whether i’ll get any of these things DONE, is another matter, of course. my rationale is, if i write it all down for the world to see, i’m committed to doing it… but we all know how useful my rationale can be…
