well, we’re off to the vet for tanker’s christmas present (oh, PLEASE can i get ‘fixed’ for the holidays?!? PLEASE??) and then back to bed with a happy pill and a hot ricebag for my throbbing brain … but fear not! soon i will awaken, full of glad tidings and christmas cheer and visions of something-to-make-for-christmas-breakfast-baskets dancing in my head!

    Oooh, fixing, that’s very exciting!

    If you have a migraine, vs. the plethora of other types of headaches, may I reccommend a) feverfew, pronto, lots of it and then daily, and b) a cold soda can to the back of the neck. Sounds ooky, but it will likely give you some relief from the drilling and throbbing and sensory overloadiness.

    actually, i use them both. i throw the ricebag into the microwave and grab the icepack from the freezer and alternate, first a good head freeze and then a migraine burn out … back and forth, back and forth :)
    and jess, i TOTALLY forgot about that feverfew, i know that you told me about it before… couldn’t find any at the store yesterday. i guess i better go to the RIGHT kind of store :)

    don’t ever get the tea, or chew raw leaves; it’ll give you canker sores if you let it sit in your mouth. Gonna take some my own self, right now…
